Allocating Batched Sales Orders

(Financial Controller only)

After you have created a sales order you must allocate stock to it, before you can record any despatches for it.

Use the Allocate option to automatically allocate stock to the sales order you have selected. When you use this option, Sage Line 50 automatically allocates as much stock as possible to your orders. If you wish to make a part allocation only, use the Amend despatches option.

To allocate a batch of sales orders, either choose the sales order required by clicking on them so they are highlighted, or use the Swap and Clear buttons.

If you chose the Complete button from the Sales Order window, Sage Line 50 automatically saved the order for you, allocated stock to it and recorded the despatch.
